Who am i? Soleyman Shahir
I'm Soleyman,. I’ve spent more than a decade in tech and in that time I’ve worked across many domains from Software Engineer, Cloud Engineer, DevOps Engineer, Senior Cloud Architect, and that’s across finance, healthcare, with governments, telecom, fortune 500s Today, I run my own consultancy and we help companies scale and secure their systems on AWS Cloud. I also have my own education company the Cloud Engineer Academy and I’ve built my own software platform called StudyTech which has already got 100s of paying users. You might have seen me on Instagram or on YouTube where I run the #1 AWS Cloud and AI channel with over 160,000 subscribers, Tech with Soleyman. But it wasn’t always like this… When I was working as a software engineer, this was more than 5 years ago, I was commuting two hours into London every day on packed trains. I was stuck, miserable, and going nowhere fast. I noticed a new emerging field in Tech and it was Cloud Engineering.
I made a decision that changed everything - I quit my job with just three months of savings and went all in. Within 90 days, I landed my first cloud engineering role. Fully remote. Doubled my salary. As I said not long after I was working as a senior cloud architect in the UK and now I’ve helped more than 700 students learn Cloud engineering using my First Principles Blueprint. Obviously the content and roadmap is there, you have that but the VIP Mentorship has three critical components that make all of the difference in helping you get hired. First, coaching. Are We A Bootcamp?
No. We're not a traditional bootcamp. Most bootcamps accept everyone who can pay. They pack in as many students as possible and maybe a few of them succeed, if they’re lucky. We don't do that. That’s not how we approach things. We're extremely selective about who we work with because my goal isn't to enrol as many people as possible - my goal is to get results. I want a 100% job success rate for all of my students. To be clear, that's my actual goal. And to actually have a chance of achieving that, we can only work with people I can actually help. People who are ready, committed, and positioned to succeed. That's why we only accept about 3% of people who book a call with us. On that call, we're going to have a real conversation about where you are, where you want to go, and whether we can actually help you get there. If we don't think we can help you, we'll tell you that straight up and point you to a better direction. But if we do think you're a good fit and we can actually help you then we’d love to show you exactly how we can fast-track your route into the industry and give you access to my proven proven system that's helped so many of my students get roles. How Is The Program Delivered?
The Cloud Engineer Academy is delivered through self-paced video lessons that I’ve built myself and it’s me teaching you everything I know. It’s organised week by week in a clear roadmap that takes you from complete beginner to 6-figure Cloud Engineer in 90 days. Each week has a different topic, and at the end of each work, you'll work through hands-on labs and real projects that reinforce what you just learned. No more watching videos for weeks before you build anything - you're applying concepts right away. The beauty of self-paced learning is you can move through the material on your schedule. If you need to slow down on a complex topic, you can. If something clicks fast, you can move ahead.
How Much Time Do I Need To Commit?
If you want to transform your career in 90 days, you need to commit 1-2 hours per day. That's about 10-15 hours per week. Now, can you do this while working full-time? Absolutely. Most of our students are working professionals that are also juggling family life as well but its just a case of making it a priority. Now if you don’t do 1 hour per day nobody is going to shame you for it, if you can only 4 hours on a Saturday and 4 hours on a Sunday, great then do that. If you can do more than 1-2 hours per day, awesome go ahead. The program is self-paced, so you can work through the lessons whenever it fits your schedule.
